if you've been living a rock, you wouldn't know that this book has been recently turned into a movie, and that teenagers everywhere are crazed about it. people said that if you read the book before you watched the movie, you would have thought that the movie was crap. and if you watched the movie without reading the book, you would have thought that the movie was alright.



i didnt read the book, and RJ made me watch it with her. in my opinion, the movie was pretty homosexual (not literally, but you know what i mean). but theres still people that loved it, even if they read the book. like RJ, or my cousins JESSICA and MADDY.

Goodies For Less.

i saved a grip of money going to that sale yesterday. i got two hats at $20 each, and this fresh pair of adidas for $30. like i said, bananas right?

oh, and i bought my hats at size 7 5/8.. not size 8. ever since i cut my hair, my head doesnt look or feel all that huge.

China Represent!

if you're a basketball fan from SoCal, odds are, you're a laker fan. and who can blame you? being one of the elite teams in the NBA, and hearing the "beat LA" chant on TV... its something to be really proud of. even though their winning streak is done (they're 7-1).

also, something new to be proud of, is LA drafting the first Chinese guard to the NBA (40th overall): Sun Yue.



never heard of him? dont worry, you will in the next two years or so. he's a 6-foot-9 guard who already looks better than Luke Walton (which the lakers are wasting money on, btw) by the looks of his highlights and pre-draft laker camp. give him time to learn the triangle offense, and the next thing you'll know, he'll be right there in Phil Jackson's regular player rotation.

Can You Dig It?!!?!?!?!

The must-see classic "The Warriors" was on sale at Best Buy for 10 bucks. considering that im getting tired of watching "forgetting sarah marshall" over and over again, this looked like a good buy.



for those of you who have never heard of this movie, its about this gang from Coney island, known as the warriors. when every gang in new york, including the warriors, is in a rally lead by some dude named Cyrus, Cyrus gets shot. the murder is blamed on the warriors, and the bulk of the movie is the warriors trying to get back to Coney Island, with every gang out to get them.

i've been hearing from everyone back home that theres a big ass fire happening right now around where i live (around anaheim hills, yorba linda, fullerton, corona).

Quantum of Solace.

007: Quantum of Solace came out today. sh*t was siiiick.


we went to go watch it in Century Theaters over in Daly City (its like filipino central in that city).


i went with the homies Justin and Josh.


like every big movie on a premiere night, there was a line to get seated in the theater.




i haven't seen Casino Royale yet, and i guess Quantum of Solace was a continuation of Casino Royale. but it was easy to catch on to what was going on. so don't trip if you havent seen CR.

Underrated.

USF Kasamahan held a concert showcasing a bunch of local filipino musical artists today. U.L.A.M was supposed to have a booth in the back, so we could advertise, but for a few reasons, we werent able to come through. but i went to the show anyways, cause i wanted to see misscarolinexoxo from youtube, and Sac Town's own Stevie Nader.

Wild Jam.

every year, BOOST MOBILE holds one of the biggest concerts on the west coast: WILD JAM @ the HP Pavilion in San Jose. it features a bunch of hip-hop and R&B artists. like last year, Lil Wayne was the headliner. this year, the headliner was T.I. ...the show was pretty insane. along with T.I., there was CIARA, LUDACRIS, AKON, KARDINAL OFFISHAL, and E-40.

sorry that the pics are low quality... the ticket said that no cameras were allowed, so i didnt wanna risk losing my sony DSLR camera. i only used my iphone.

you wont be able to see the performers in my pics because i was kinda far, but i promise that whoever i say is in the pic, is actually in the pic, and im not lying.
