Hello, Goodbye, '08.

this year went by real quick. it was seriously one of the most important years of my life so far:

- high school graduation
- 18th birthday
- first semester of college

...just to name a few.

i just wanna say thank you to everyone for being there for me through all the times i needed you guys. without you, i'd just be some random loser kid with no life.

oh and not to mention, the launch of U.L.A.M!!

Fixed Dreams.

i've been wanting a fixie bike for a while now, and since i have this old '80s bike, i figure i can use some of its parts to make a new bike (i cant use the old '80s one because its too big). so today me and my cousin MIKKO went to LA for bike part hunting. everything was way too expenisive and complicated (old parts dont fit with new parts, blah blah blah), so i came home empty handed.

BUT, thanks to MIKKO, we found this good fixie on craigslist, going for $340. it was only 6pm when we found it, so we decided to check it out, since it was only in fullerton. when we checked it out, everything was completely copecetic, and i bargained the guy to let me have it for $300.

its a really good deal: it has a size 53 cm centurion frame, a white turbo seat, japanese wheels, and a gold bike chain (those go for $80!)... just to name a few parts... all for $300.. nice right?!









now all i have to do, is get a handbrake (i dont know how to skid yet), a new back tire, and pedal cases, and im set!

oh yeah, im going to paint the fram white, and the wheels white too. so it looks all clean and fresh... nah mean?!?!

after high school, its crazy how your group of friends are all going to go their separate ways... different schools and whatnot. thats exactly what happened with my servite high friends. but hey, its winter break, time to reunite.

Christmas Special.

i can honestly say that this year's christmas was really rewarding. coming back to kickback with family and friends after being away from home for a few months was something special. from the great homecooked filipino meals, to the Lakers winning over the Celtics on christmas day, everything just felt right.

Christmas Movies Are The Best.

merry christmas eve guys! its time to get with the fam, and eat a grip of good food. AND, its time to bring out the christmas movies. one of my favorites, is LOVE ACTUALLY.

it's movie that has a bunch of different love stories all set during christmas time. all of the love stories are connected.. and my favorite story is about this boy in elementary school who has the biggest crush on this girl who can sing like crazy. so he learns how to play the drums, cause he figures every girl loves a musician.



i love that part at the end... "all i want for christmas is YOU! ...and you, and you and you.." then the kid gets all pissed. haha.

Final Finale.

i dont know if ive told you guys, but i have TWO finals today. i just got back from taking one, my psychology one. its kinda pointless cause im not a psych major anymore, so the class just counts as an elective now. AND, i really think i owned that final.

so theres one more, ASIAN ART. at 3:30 pm today (coming up in 2 hours). yeah, you should know by now, i HATE that class. the final is a b*tch too.

i have to memorize information for 30 paintings, and prepare for two essays (as if the 30 paintings isnt enough). so i made these notecards with each painting, and ive been studying for honestly, 2 days.

Back To The Bay.

thanksgiving break was the sh*t. i had an amazing weekend, thanks to RJ, KELSEY, SARK, PATRICK, KIRSTY, JC, MIKKO, JASON, JESSICA, MADDY... and oh yeah, even my gay little brother nikko. okay, he's not really gay (but we do have a video of him saying he likes boys. ask my cousin jc).

but now im back in school (gay). my 9 a.m. flight this morning was delayed 2 hours, so i didnt get to SF till noon, and i didnt get to school till 1:40. i was supposed to get to school around 10:30 so i could sleep before my 1:30 class. but obviously, that didnt happen.

SFO on a gloomy afternoon.


as if the plane wasn't enough, i have to ride this stupid ass train to the city.


and now im sitting in my 3:30 asian art class, as if i have nothing better to do. kill me already (okay, dont literally kill me).

i'm dying of deprivation of sleep.

oh, and if i left you out from the people i thanked, you could slap me in the head when you see me. unless of course, if you're homosexual (again, not literally) and didn't make my break awesome.
