stop egging my house and leaving me stupid ass anonymous messages. i dont really know what i did to piss you guys off. but if you got a problem, quit being pussies and say it in front of my face.
did u feel that earthquake at about 11:40 AM today?? cuz i did. i was in costco. i started to feel the ground shake a lil bit, but i figured it was prolly some fat kid jumping around. but then it got more severe in a matter of maybe.. 4 seconds. crazy right? and i saved a little kids life... okay, maybe not her life. but i saved her from a bad bruise. when the earthquake got severe, some of the crap on the shelfs fell, and i pulled her out of the way. yes, yes, thank you, thank you.
oh, and when the earthquake got severe, i heard an old lady yell.. "its the terrorists!!!" haha. i thought that was funny.
if you haven't noticed, me and my cousins are influenced by the hundreds. hah, okay. GREATLY influenced by the hundreds. we're influenced by everything associated to the hundreds culture/lifestyle, which includes the blog. and today on July 27, it's the fifth year anniversary of that very blog. the blog that put their brand out there, and showcased all of the features apparel. so congrats to ben, bobby, and the rest of em.
the newest edition to the Vans Vault line, are the Vans Mountain Edition LX. these colorsways are sick, and not that anyone would care (JC), but i call the greenish ones in the middle.
if you haven't noticed, i've been doing a bunch of crap that an OC kid should be doing during summer. whats for today??? OC fair. but hoolly crap. everything is at LEAST 10 bucks. seriously. parking: $10, admission: $10, ride/booth tickets: $10 or more... and the food?? shiiiiiit. a funnel cake is 10 bucks. and that doesnt include the powdered sugar, the fruit toppings, the syrup, or the soft serve ice cream. those are all separate. but nonetheless, its still a must to go to the OC fair during summer.
all pics taken with the iphone.
everyone paid $10 bucks to leave their car here..
this sand sculpture is right at the entrance. what does that crack on the left remind you of? i know what it reminded me and carl of.
thats the biggest ferris wheel ive ever seen in my life.
my buddy sammy works at the fair every summer. at the place that charges you an arm and a leg for a decent funnel cake.
got nothing to do on a summer night around 9:30? go to downtown disney and watch the fireworks. it doesnt cost a cent. except for the gas to get there. so thats what i did sunday night, with the group from knotts. gotta love those summer nights.
danya and pat.
me and my one and only.
these two girls are best friends. kelsey and chelsea. preeeetty cool.
this pair of nike's have been spotted on mr. kanye west, every now and then.. this is the first time the world gets a close up on the new Nike Air Yeezy... definitely hoping that this comes out on the market.
i asked rj for a coke last night... she gave me this. it has the work "coke" written in Ethiopian[?]... funny thing i just realized... i could say it said "coke" in jewish, and you would have probably believed me. haha. but yeah, coke made these collectible cans of coke in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. too bad i didnt care about the collectible. cuz that can is in a dumpster somewhere.
living in the OC, its a "must" that i go spend a day at Knott's Berry Farm Amusment Park during the summer... so i guess yesterday was that day. (pics taken with iphone)
Nas' new untitled album (previously titled "nigger") drops today, and to commemorate that, Nas and Alife have teamed up to create this special shirt/lighter package... but dont worry about that too much. theres only 100 of those packages made, and they're only being sold in the Alife NYC store. damnit.
but anyways, go pick up the album. i haven't done much research on it, but Nas always spits sick, legendary rhymes that last throughout hip-hop history, so i guarantee that you won't be disappointed in investing 20 bucks (max) on pickin up his album.
if you check up on my cousins blogs, you would know that last sunday, was the best day so far for the U.L.A.M. brand/crew. dont ask me what why that is, because i have no idea what happened. if we were the hundreds, my cousins mikko and jc would be ben and bobby, and i would just be like... super-intern alex. lol. but yeah, if you wanna know whats up with U.L.A.M., then ask one of them. cause their posts have me pretty excited.
so me and my homie vic were watchin the movie Heartbreakers on comedy central (don't ask why... it was just on), when a funny ass commercial for jack link's beef jerky came on...
hahaha. we laughed our asses off... turns out, theres a grip more of those commercials... these are only a few of them.
the day finally came. july 11th, the day when the iphone 3g comes out. even though i said i was gunna buy one, i didnt mean the day it comes out. im not down to get up all early and wait 6 hours in line for a damn phone (no matter how cool it is). but i still went to the apple store in the brea mall to check out the line.
the line went outside of the apple store... about 50 yards out.
then there was this disneyland ride style skiwiggly line.
they give you these pamphlets when you enter the line. i guess they think it's supposed to keep you occupied while you wait a whole day in line.
i guess i'll just try to pick one up the next time around.
so today at work, i helped a customer with a very familiar face to my memory. i realized that he's the dude from youtube who's really really pro at guitar, and makes a bunch of cover videos.. his name is KRIS MARK. it was pretty cool meeting him, cause i learn alot of songs by watching his videos, and simply because i enjoy hearing him play.
his most famous cover. aj rafael's "my soldier". (haha, he got famous off of someone else's song.)
this cover is pretty dope too. i learned the song off of this video. (not to mention, i think i own that jacket..)
he also has an original song, "who is she". check it out on his music myspace. its the first track on the player.
oh by the way, i got another letter from those damn Scientologists.. guess what happened to it. check out my other post about the first letter. The Unfunny Truth.
well, it has started for me, at least. why? i finally spent a day at the beach with close friends. with work taking over my predicted summer schedule of just chillin, a day to relax at the beach was well enjoyed.
at the beginning, it looked like it was gunna be a shitty, gloomy beach day.
hence, the gloomy faces... though they're not that shitty.
...but a few clouds can't stop patrick from playing his uke.
then it finally got sunny. hence, the once gloomy faces, turned happy.
look at that fatass on the left.
www.youtube.com/hoykelsey
main man vic.
i didn't draw that. or take this picture. it just happen to be on my camera. but what it says is true.
"patrick is a pussy"
yeah, i dont know.
"fuck this shit." ...and i ran for the ocean.
i guess it's tradition now that we eat at red robin's after beach days.
